The last week of May!!
Artist: Parcels
Album: Hideout
Year Released: 2017
Rating (Out of 5 Stars): 4.2
Best Song On First Listen: Hideout
Travie Says: I’m pretty sure I heard “Hideout” in a random Instagram reel, and I had to find the band behind the sound. The five-piece Parcels hails from Australia, and their electronic pop will captivate you quickly.
Artist: Bleachers
Album: everyone for ten minutes
Year Released: 2026
Rating (Out of 5 Stars): 4.2
Best Song On First Listen: the van
Travie Says: Superstar producer Jack Antonoff is behind some of your favorite songs by Sara Bareilles, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Kendrick Lamar, St. Vincent, Lorde, and so many more. After all that hard work for others, he still makes time for his own music, releasing Bleachers’ 5th studio album, everyone for ten minutes.
Artist: Emmy Meli
Album: All About Love
Year Released: 2026
Rating (Out of 5 Stars): 4.4
Best Song On First Listen: Ohh La La
Travie Says: She may be blowing a bubble on the cover, but this album is anything but bubblegum pop. Californian Emmy Meli packs a lot of emotion into all 7 songs on All About Love.
Artist: PJ Morton
Album: Gumbo Unplugged (Live)
Year Released: 2018
Rating (Out of 5 Stars): 5
Best Song On First Listen: Go Through Your Phone - Live
Travie Says: Our Midnight Marauders pick this week was Gumbo Unplugged (Live) by musical mastermind, PJ Morton. You might recognize PJ as a member of Maroon 5 as well, but this live album proves that he deserves the spotlight all to himself. The musicality, my goodness. My favorite song here is the ignorance-is-bliss anthem, “Go Through Your Phone - Live.”
Artist: Saint Harison
Album: ghosted - EP
Year Released: 2026
Rating (Out of 5 Stars): 4.3
Best Song On First Listen: panic room
Travie Says: A great talent from Great Britain, Saint Harison has blessed us with a great new EP. Saint Harison is quickly establishing himself as a vocal giant and interesting lyricist. The standout moment for me was the mid-EP song, “panic room.” Saint Harison perfectly captures the sour taste a break up leaves in your mouth, with the incredible lines, “You made me hate Beyoncé/She was all that we played/Every single night, every day.” What used to give you butterflies now makes your stomach churn when a relationship ends badly.
